OUR FEE POLICY
AFTER HOURS CLINICS
All Patients attending Family Care Medical Services After Hours GP Clinic who have their Medicare care with them are bulk billed. Family Care Medical Service doctors reserve the right to charge a fee to patients without a medicare card. Where a fee is charged it will not exceed the applicable Medicare rebate for the service provided. Fees are payable by cash, credit card or cheque.
AFTER HOURS HOME VISITING SERVICES
Patients who are attended by a doctor in their home may be bulk billed by the doctor in accordance with the Family Care Medical Services' Social Charter. Patients who are not eligible to be bulk billed will be required to settle the fee by cash, credit card or cheque at the time of consultation. The medical referral assessor who books the after hours home visit will provide an estimate of the fee at the time the call is taken
