Call Family Care Medical Services on 13 SICK, that’s 13 7425 from 4 pm weekdays, 10 am on Saturdays and anytime on Sundays or public holidays to request a doctor’s house call.

Our Medical Referral Assessors will take details and arrange for a doctor’s house call.

Alternatively you can visit our clinic located in Logan.

2. When can patients book a call?

For a doctor’s house call, patients can ring 13 SICK, that’s 13 7425 from 4 pm on weekdays, and 10 am on Saturdays. Patients can call anytime on Sundays and public holidays.

3. What does it cost?

There is a fee for the consultation if the patient does not attend to General Practices which subscribe to the service.

Patients of subscribing General Practices that are concession card holders (i.e. pension, health care card, DVA gold card), a child under 16 years or a Family Care Friendly Society member or a nursing home resident will be bulk billed.

The minimum fee for a standard consultation after 6 pm is $175 and after 11 pm is $195.
Medicare will refund $120.30 before 11 pm and $141.75 after 11 pm.

The fee for a hotel or site visit is $300. The Medicare rebate depends on the item number that is applicable.
